How to use Dubai Lime to promote yourself for Free 

Dubai Lime is visited by over 50,000 people a month interested in Dubai Based events, art, music and general Dubai Information. We also provide non commercial free events for the Dubai Community.

The Dubai Lime service is provided 100% free for the Dubai Community.

We want to help musicians and entertainment artists promote themselves within the local arts scene. Here is how we help can help you to help yourself when it comes to promoting your music, your band or your talent in Dubai.

The first thing you should do is to register on Dubai Lime. Then you can:

Get a free listing in the Artists Database.

We operate an artist's database that will allow you to list yourself for free. Events and entertainment companies in Dubai often use this database for selecting artists and acts for the various events they run. Its free to list - you simply need to go to the main menu "Entertainment Database " and register as an artist. Include as much information and links to your Mp3s, videos etc as possible.

Post your video to Dubai Lime TV

Dubai Lime TV will let you post your promotional videos for Free. Post your videos of your work, your songs etc for free. To do these simply go to the "Dubai Lime TV " menu create an account and upload your video.

Get Featured on Dubai Lime Bands

To post an article to Dubai Lime bands simply go to the "Dubai Bands " section and then click the "Write on Bands" link. Write a good article about your band in the third person, include links to your videos on Dubai Lime TV or My Space, You Tube etc in the article and if its ok and meets our editorial standard then we will include it for free (Subject to our edits)

Tell Us about Your Events

If you are running an event you can list it on the events calendar and on the front page of Dubai Lime for Free. Simply follow the instructions for posting a Dubai Event on the About Lime Events page.

Play at the Open Mic

To get your MP3's onto Dubai Lime and get more detailed feature coverage you can play at the Dubai Lime Open Mics. We run a number of free community based events that will allow you to perform to an audience and get exposure. Keep in mind that the events are free and non commercial so you won't get paid. Play on the Radio

We run the Open Mic Radio show with 92FM on Saturdays 7pm till 9pm. If you would like to play on the radio we ask that you have played at least one Open Mics and we will put you forward. You also need to be of a certain standard to get on - so if you need more Open Mics to practice we will tell you. Post Your News

To tell us about your news simply log in and go to the "Contribute to Content" link under "MY LIME" - you can post your news articles for free, including gigs etc for inclusion on Dubai Lime.

We will go through and make any required edits to your posting, make sure you include your email in case we need to get further details from you. Your event will then be included in the relevant section on Dubai Lime and may even be featured on the front page.
