Alan Halliday

Alan is a true connoisseur of the arts, in that he uses his painterly skills to reflect his admiration for a number of artistic disciplines - his drawings of the ballet, opera, theatre and music arenas are much prized by a number of prominent collectors.

He has exhibited in conjunction with the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet, and has been artist in residence with the Cincinnati Ballet and the Caracalla Dance Theatre.

The freshness, energy and sensuousness that he applies to his 'theatrical' portraits, are translated sensitively into his painterly memories of his extensive travels, including the UAE.
