 On seeing the sandcasting technique for the first time during her studies in the USA, Amanda was instantly drawn to the textural finishes that the process generates - the subtle interplay between the smooth inner surface and the coarse texture underbelly produces glass sculptures which Amanda describes as glowing tributes to Nature.
