Arthi Srinivasan

Arthi Srinivasan was born in Mumbai, India and grew up in the UAE. She is a self-taught artist who was influenced through private lessons with some locally well-known artists residing in Dubai.

Further background in art was acquired through learning and reading the works of world renowned artists such as Modigliani, Picasso, Monet, etc. as well as the works of some well-known photographers such as Steve McCurry.

Arthi is currently exploring portraits as one of her key strengths but has also dabbled in landscapes. Abstract expressionism is an area of art that interests her as well.

Most of the portraits done so far have been pictures of those individuals that have inspired her but also have spoken endlessly about themselves just through their photographs.
