A graphic designer with a unique balance of creative
and technical expertise, coupled with a background in typography and
illustration.
For 5 years, I have helped employers and clients develop
corporate and brand identities, as well as market positioning. As a graduate of
The American University in Dubai,
my vast experiences range from designing annual reports, brochures,
advertisements, product packaging, catalogs, logos, billboards to designing web
pages.
Traditional Ottoman art and architecture are my main
sources for inspiration. I feel that I can express my self through these
channels of distinct art and talent by adding my own abstract and contemporary
views.
In my latest exhibition, I was inspired by Tezhip art
created during the Ottoman Empire. This
exhibition shed light on my Turkish heritage and allowed me to express my own
interpretation.
I feel that an entirely different aspect of perception can
be unveiled by merging diverse forms of traditional with modern art.
