Elementa Gallery

Elementa opened its door on 12th of January 2008. It is a modern art gallery that features work by both emerging and established artists from around the world who work in a diverse range of mediums. As a gallery Elementa support bold and innovative ideas and look forward to encouraging and assisting new talent in particular.

Elementa will be focusing on international modern and contemporary art with its open outlook. The gallery will be hosting six to seven shows a year. Each show will run for a duration of six weeks. The gallery will also open up its space for discussions and forums aimed at providing a platform for cultural dialogue and exchange.

The gallery occupies an impressive warehouse which has been specially converted into a contemporary space located in the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA). This gallery have selected this location to break from the mold and feature a new space closer to the traditional center of Dubai. Element is also nearer the emirate of Sharjah which hosts the Sharjah Biennale and is home to a university featuring a reputed visual art department as well as a renowned museum of contemporary art.
