The Role:

Manage the Dubai Lime Art Exhibitions
Weekly Rotation Exhibition plus one opening night per month - Non profit

The Dubai Lime art exhibition is a not for profit mobile art exhibition that rotates around coffee shops in Dubai. The exhibition provides a stepping stone platform for new artists to show case their talents with their first exhibition in Dubai. We also exhibit works from the Dubai Autism Centre and the Dubai Centre for special needs to bring awareness to their cause. You will be required to work directly with the artists to set up and transport art works between venues, work with Strawberry PR to promote each artist in Dubai and to work with the Online Team at Dubai Lime. Every month you will be required to hold an opening night of the exhibition and you will also be required to promote the opening night both online and with our PR partner.

Manage the Open Mic
Twice Weekly grace roots music event - Non profit

The Dubai Lime Open Mic is a coffee shop venue event which holds a musical Open Mic twice a week in Dubai. The Open Mic allows young musicians to play their original music in Dubai and progress to radio play on 92FM. You will be responsible for arranging the musicians performing, ensuring that they arrive on time to play and promoting them in Dubai. We have already had a number of talented Dubai Lime musicians picked up by record labels in Dubai. You will work directly with the artists, our PR partners Strawberry PR and attend the events twice per week as well as promote the events.

The Dubai CEO Events
Once Monthly Senior Level Social Event - Sponsored For Profit Business Event

CEO events are for H2O New Media customers. The events take place once a month and you will need to be able to throw a party for around 120 CEO's of Dubai Media, Events and Entertainment companies. The party is a senior level business networking event for business owners in Dubai but in a very relaxed setting. You will be required to secure sponsors and venues for the events and co-ordinate the guest list and entertainments provision / activities for the event.

The Dubai Lime Social Nights
Once Monthly Senior Level Social Event - non profit

Back with a vengeance the Dubai Lime social nights allow people to get out and meet other people in Dubai. The social nights normally take place in bars and simply require you to negotiate a venue and get people to turn up. These events are also not for profit and provided as a community service by Dubai Lime.

The person

Ideally you will have an interest in music & arts, a background in running small scale events at a grass roots level. You will need to be professional and deal with the events sponsors and you will also need to be organised and able to keep excellent time. Ideally you will be a recent graduate and will have a passion for event management and attending parties. Excellent fluent English is required as you will be required to work with the events sponsors to report on the events attendance etc.

Place of work: On site and Dubai Lime Office in Dubai Investment Park - Near Jebel Ali

Term of work: 6 month contract October - April
Pay: 8,000.00 per month plus bonus based on event success

Adrenaline Sports Live is the regions' first festival celebrating extreme and adrenaline sports and is one of the most exciting events ever to hit the Middle East. It will offer a huge amount of entertainment and excitement for adrenaline-seeking expats and Emiratis, families looking for new pursuits at weekends, fashion followers, holiday planners, media and the sports-mad.

Sports and activity organisations, travel companies and tour operators, sports equipment manufacturers, retailers and lifestyle fashion brands, will all be present at the show offering the latest in equipment and clothing, training courses and associations, and presenting unique holiday and tour packages. Show Features and Demonstrations

Outdoor and indoor demonstration areas from some of the world's and the region's best athletes will offer an exciting spectacle for visitors. Some of the demostrations and trials on offer at the festival include:

› Skateboarding
Visitors will be able to check out live action by some of the best skaters at the Red Bull Skate Park and watch them compete for the Adrenaline Sports Skateboarding Trophy. There will also be a dedicated area for visitors to learn the basics or show off their own tricks.

› The 1st Abu Dhabi National Dragon Boat Festival
On the river right across from ADNEC, visitors can experience the thrill of Dragon Boat racing, watching school, corporate and competitive teams battle it out for the first ever Abu Dhabi Dragon Boat Cup. Visitors will also be able to try the sport for themselves during the festival and sign up to local clubs. › Zorbing

› Blow-karting

Being launched in the UAE at the festival, blow-karting is the next big thing! Dream Days will be on-hand with their championship blow-karters to thrill and entertain visitors to the show, and visitors will also have the chance to try the sport for themselves - only at Adrenaline Sports Live!

› 4X4 Rock Driving

The UAE Jeep Club will be present at the festival offering rock-driving demonstrations as well as the latest kit for jeeps and desert driving.

› Wakeboarding
Also on the river, spectators will be able to witness exhilarating wakeboarding demonstrations as pro athletes pull tricks and show off their best moves. There will also be heats for the National Wakeboarding Championships and visitors will be able to sign up for trial lessons and taster sessions with local clubs and associations.

› Diving
One of the most popular activities in the UAE, the festival will be offering advice, equipment sales, and complimentary trial dives.

› Surfing
The festival will be giving visitors the surfing bug with a surfing simulator, as Surf Dubai offers lessons and explains where to go to find the perfect breaks. Travel and tour companies will be on hand offering packages to destinations with more exciting surf breaks.

› Jet Skiing
