INTRODUCTION

Understanding & appreciating the significance of these collector's pieces is the most fulfilling undertaking I've ever had because there's so much to learn. Constraints of space have prompted me to be brief & concise by touching mainly on these collections & to be presented here with color photos- which is the best way of showcasing the true essence of this art of collecting.

When I ventured into this, what struck me was the basically private character of most of us collectors. I too share this feeling because collecting is something completely personal & engaged to satisfy our innerselves. We enjoy the possessions we have that we can spend hours by merely looking at the wonderful stuff. It brings us collectors great joy to sit & rediscover something meaningful on these things.

During these stimulating hours & interaction with them, I saw the degree of each collector's passion. It always amazes me and get astounded by the beauty of their collections, the unexpected number & sheer enormity of their treasures.

This blog will go beyond providing historical information and serve as a conduit for the stories and passions of us collectors. I will always be mesmerized by these wonderful objects. It is my love for these things that will keep this blog constantly fresh & interesting. So if you make some pleasurable discoveries here, then this blog will have succeeded.
