So many have said and written that life is like a stage. I myself agree to this and even wrote a poem with it as a title.
Some differences I guess would include the fact that we do not have a grand rehearsal on how we would like our life to be and that we have never seen those thick sheets of paper that represents the entire script of our life. I believe that is the thing that makes life more interesting. Knowing what the future holds removes the joy that the surprises of life brings.
We are the leading actor or actress in our life's story. Many watch us as we take the stage. Some may watch for a moment, some may take part, and some may stay longer if enjoying the show they had.
What I am waiting for is someone, someone who would sit, watch, and stay forever. Someone who would stand from her seat and join me on the stage. Someone who would not mind whatever the script of life may bring, as long as she would share everything with me.
A play has a climax usually put somewhere near the end. In life we also have one. But we can't predict where it will be in our timeline. We have never seen the script of our life because we are yet to write it with every decision that we have.
Later on, all of us will exit the stage. And life may or may not give us the chance to take a bow. But saying farewell, I believe, will never be as important as to how our life will be remembered by those who took part.
May my story touch another story or many more, if it can. And may my light shine though my candle is nothing more but gone.
