Hi folks,

Not sure many people know about this, but there is a tournament Scrabble club/league in Dubai (one of many across the Gulf, we recently participated in the Gulf Masters Tournament in Bahrain)...the competitive version is a whole new ball game, forget about those leisurely afternoon games with your mum, this is intense stuff, and should anyone like to get into it, would be more than happy to set you on the right track! Would be great to induct some new players into the fold, be warned though, there is a tendency to get hooked to the game!
