Henna has a variety of names given by each and every culture that use the art of henna and is sometimes called ‘mehndi' or ‘hinna'. Designs vary from culture to culture - from birds, plants, vines, and flowers, to paisleys, hearts and peacocks, the designs are unlimited.
The Arts Centre at DUCTAC utilises 25 tutors running over 40 different courses in a myriad of mediums from basic drawing to advanced painting, pottery, contemporary mosaics, Arabic calligraphy, silk painting and a host of kids classes. A selection is shown above. Comments
