Feline Friends is a non profit organisation whose goal is to care for stray, abandoned, abused and neglected cats. Feline Friends does not have an animal shelter, or receive any official funding, therefore relies on donations and volunteer fosterers who provide temporary care for cats and kittens.

Moppy was born in March, 2009. Why such a strange name? W
hen he was a kitten, he was found by a Satwa resident. He had a badly broken leg and bad burns - which he may have received from being trapped in a car engine - so he was taken to the vet by Feline Friends. Scared and in lots of pain, Moppy was not on his best behaviour. Luckily for him, the vets were able to fix his leg and soothe his burns. He recuperated in an apartment, but due to his 'blindness to kindness' at the time, he hid in a mop bucket for a week - hence the name. Over time, after receiving plenty of love, patience and good grub, he decided to venture out and check out his surroundings. After realising that it was safe, he has blossomed. He like cuddles and playtime - his favourite toy is a belt which he drags around to make people chase him. He also likes to play hide and seek and is doted on by his foster brother William. He has had all his shots and has been microchipped and sterilised.
Murphy is a wonderful cat who was adopted last year. Sadly, his feline 
roommate has never been happy about having to share the house with such a handsome cat, and because of his bad behavior toward poor Murphy, he came back to Feline Friends to find a new home. He is two years old, fully vaccinated, sterilised, and microchipped. Murphy will hopefully have another chance at a loving home, without a mean cat to push him around.
Roger and Victoria (est. D.O.B. 01/04/2009) are two playful gorgeous little cats that are friendly and loving but who need a while to get used to new situations. They are currently happily living in an apartment and are fine whilst their fosterers are out at work all day. They are litter trained and have both been sterilised and vaccinated.
Roger is a white and ginger tabby, with a big meow to greet you when you get home. When he wants to get your attention he will stand on his back legs and use both paws to pull your hand towards his head for a scratch, he is really so endearing! He is really cuddly and likes to curl up or stretch himself out on top of you! Victoria is a smaller tabby with a very pretty face and a sweet nature. She also loves affection and is happy to be picked up now and again. She loves to follow people around and likes to watch you cook and tries to help by standing on her back legs and offering a paw. Since we have had them, both have become more trusting and more loving with every day. They have become real characters. These little sweeties obviously had a hard start in life, but given time, they have shown their true personalities and are so much fun to have around. . Due to their timid nature it would probably be better for them to be homed somewhere without young children.
Sweetie is a very friendly young lady, and still very playful. Each morning she gree
ts us by running up to us to be loved and cuddled. She has been fully vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised. She eats dry food mostly but goes bananas for tuna. She is 1 year old (DOB 27/07/2009). She is great with other cats and would also suit a family with children as she is so friendly.
Tessa was found wandering outside Dubai Airport but is clearly a domesticated cat. She is approx 1.5 years old (born April 2009), is completely white with multi-coloured eyes. She is playful and gets along with children 
however her temperament towards other pets is unknown. Her favourite toy is her bouncy ball and she will chase you around the house if she sees you playing with it. She is independent and can therefore be adopted by people working. She has such a soft purr, you cant resist her. People with expensive ornaments lying precariously on high shelves would need to cat proof their home. She has been spayed & vaccinated.
Marion was born in October and is a black and white kitten. She is very independent
and while she really doesn't like to be picked up, she loves to interact through playing. When she is ready to sleep she will allow a soft touch on her neck and then she is full of purrs. She has a very inquisitive personality and loves to be in charge. She would probably not be happy in a home with dogs, but she has a kitten-roommate and they get along just fine. Marion has been sterilised and will have her shots soon.
When we first took in this greyish black skinny cat, we were told she had just been rescued from the claws of a gang of street cats in Mirdiff. For the first few days, she hid from us and we couldn't even touch her. She sometimes made those very small mewing sounds: mew... mew... hence the name: Petimew. Fast forward two 
months later. Her fur has grown much whiter, with little black patterns reminiscent of a very elegant long limbed cow. She has become incredibly playful chasing ants and setting speed records down the hallways. But most of all, she has become loving and cuddly, hopping on the bed to cuddle during the night, nuzzling her little body against us on the couch, following us in the kitchen and hopping on the counter just because... We still cannot believe it is the same cat. We took in a one day old kitten and she has taken to her very well, teaching her a thing or to and proving to be such a great role model! We also have a dog and while I wouldn't say they are the best of friends, they cohabit peacefully. She is about 11 months old and had all her shots, microchipped, and sterilized. We hope she can find a good home where she will get all the love she deserves!
Sam and Lila are a delightful pair of young adult cats who were cruelly abandoned by their owner who left Dubai. A kind neighbour heard them crying and rescued them. They settled quickly in a foster home, 
and although they really miss the space of a garden, they have adapted well to apartment life. They are so sweet - affectionate, playful, entertaining, and always gentle. They adore each other and are very independent. They will play with their toys together, chase each other around like kittens, and sleep curled up together on a sunny windowsill. They can be left all day, but they also love a cuddle, and take every opportunity to sit on our laps and purr. Sam is black with golden eyes and fur like velvet. Lila is smaller, black and white, and a little shy. They are both microchipped and sterilised. They are happy with dry food but love tuna fish as a treat! They really need to be homed together as they would be broken hearted to be parted. They will make wonderful family pets, and really deserve a loving home.
